The mission of the Chemical Engineering program is to provide exceptional education, research, and service in chemical engineering, preparing students for professional practice and contributing to the advancement of the science and technology fundamental to the field. Chemical engineers apply their specialized understanding of chemical reactions and separations to tackle energy, medical, environmental, and social issues and create new materials on a large scale.
